Long ago, in the fantasy world of Kumandra, humans and dragons lived together in harmony. But when an evil force threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, that same evil has returned and it’s up to a lone warrior, Raya, to track down the legendary last dragon to restore the fractured land and its divided people. Raya and the Last Dragon was viewed approximately 1.1 billion minutes from May 31–June 6, a huge jump for the film (and any streaming title), which previously had a total of 115 million viewing minutes a week prior when it was still only available for $30 as a premium title. Directed by Don Hall, Carlos López Estrada, Paul Briggs. With Kelly Marie Tran, Awkwafina, Gemma Raya and the Last Dragon features the voices of Kelly Marie Tran as Raya, a warrior whose wit is as sharp as her blade, and Awkwafina as the magical, mythical, self-deprecating dragon named Sisu. Characters also include a street-savvy 10-year-old entrepreneur named Boun, the formidable giant Tong and a thieving toddler Noi with her band of Ongis. Now, 500 years later, those same monsters have returned and it's up to a lone warrior, Raya, to track down the last dragon in order to finally stop the Druun for good. However, along her journey, Raya and the Last Dragon is an American animated film produced at Walt Disney Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It was released on March 5 , 2021 and is the 59th animated feature in the Disney Animated Canon . Dragon fruit, while not exclusive to Southeast Asia, makes several appearances throughout Raya and the Last Dragon. Considering the title of this Disney movie as well as what the movie is about In Nielsen ratings for the week of May 31 through June 6, Walt Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon became available “for free” on Disney+ and skyrocketed to the top of the charts. The animated Raya and the Last Dragon is a beautifully animated, action-packed hero’s journey, and a great next evolution of Disney’s modern-day princess films. Swelled by a strong score from composer James Newton Howard (his first Disney work in 18 years), the elemental styles of Raya and the Last Dragon borrow gratifying and opulent inspiration from the Dyan, Pan, and Uka are supporting comedy relief characters in Disney’s 2021 animated feature film, Raya and the Last Dragon. They are a group called Ongis and their leader is Noi. They are appeared to be known as part Monkey and part Catfish.
